Girl Love #13

My Sunday evening is going to be spent indulging in some of my most favourite things: Watching Youtube videos, reading blog posts and eating custard donuts. Maybe I'll even treat myself to a cup of earl grey if I'm feeling particularly wild! Frankly, if that ain't the best way to end a week, I don't know what is.

In case you want to join me, I felt like now was the perfect time to post another edition of Girl Love, the series where I share with you all of the female creatives that I've been loving lately. I want to say "you're welcome" and "I'm sorry" in advance, because you're definitely going to fall in love with these incredible women and their content, perhaps to the point where your productivity drops to an all-time low. But, trust me, they are worth it.

Eleanor from eleanorclaudie.com

I never thought that at the age of 21 I would feel quite so not 'down with the kids' and yet here I am.

Eleanor is one of those bloggers that just seems effortlessly cool. She has a relaxed written voice that makes you feel like you're chatting to your (super chic) friend over coffee and her website's collage design is to die for.  I'm simultaneously inspired and a little bit jealous. On top of that she talks about some of the stuff that really matters - sustainable fashion (that's ma girl!), culture, art and cruelty free beauty - in a way that's completely relatable and accessible to everyone. She even has a bilingual book club which, as well as having a pleasingly alliterative name, is an incredible opportunity for anyone looking to broaden their reading horizons.

Oh, and her blog header was designed by Ella Masters, previous feature in a Girl Love post!

Rhian from Wife Life

When someone talks unashamedly about mental health, shares cruelty-free beauty and sustainable fashion, you know I'm going to watch every one of their videos. And also wonder how the hell I went so long on the internet without finding them.

Well, that's exactly what happened with Rhian, who is not only a Youtuber, but a blogger, general wonderful person and fellow menstrual cup user (we have to stick together). Her recent series "goblin to goddess" is what made me realise that she most definitely needed to be in this edition of Girl Love. In it she talks about super simple, quick ways to make yourself feel a little bit less goblin, including my personal favourite: putting on a pair of hoops. On top of that she's got a butt tonne of glorious videos and blog posts from Lush hauls and makeup tutorials to looks inside her satisfyingly organised bags.

Sadia from Pick Up Limes

Listen, I am not a recipe video watcher or a food blog reader. That is, I wasn't until I found Sadia and started a love affair with both of those things.

Pick Up Limes is a completely vegan platform where Sadia shares easy recipes (including this chia seed jam that you may have seen featured on my Insta!) and tips on general well being, such as a begginner's guide to meditation . All of her advice is incredible and I've already started implementing a lot of it in and out of the kitchen. Apart from her super soothing voice, I think the thing I like most about Sadia's videos is how she is able to give advice without condemning anyone. Her tips come from a place of love, not a place of judgement.
